Level 1: Fundamentals of Concealed Carry and Home Defense

This course is the flagship course of the USCCA and is the first step in responsible carry of a firearm for personal protection.

This course will provide instruction in the classroom on such topics as

conflict avoidance
situational awareness
home and personal defense mindset
handgun & shotgun basics
shooting fundamentals
the physiology of violent encounters
the legal considerations and aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath)
a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training
Financial considerations of using a firearm in a defensive situation
